KFC Rebrand
This was created from the Dribble Weekly Warm-up prompt:
Rebrand Your Favorite Fast Food Guilty Pleasure

Reclaiming culture
KFC’s famous Original Recipe is rumored to actually belong to Sarah Childress. Sarah becomes the face of the brand instead of Colonel Sanders — restoring some of the brand’s authenticity by acknowledging the cultural history of fried chicken and honoring the woman who may have invented the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices.
Familiar Look & Feel
The visual identity keeps it simple and familiar with a minimal color palette and approachable typefaces. An update of the “Secret Recipe” adds a touch of humor.
Back to it’s roots
The visual brand is accented by a minimal kente cloth pattern for added texture. The kente pattern pays homage to the African American roots of fried chicken as we know it.
